VI International Workshop on Science and Innovation Management
The Research Group on Social Studies of Science and Technology (GESCsYT) and the Havana Science and Technology Park are calling for the VI International Workshop on Science and Innovation Management (GICI 2025) within the framework of the VI International Convention UCIENCIA 2025.
This workshop will aim to reflect among the different actors on the potential of the management of science, technology and innovation for organizations such as universities, companies, entrepreneurs, science and technology parks, Science and Technology Interface Societies and non-purpose Foundations. profit, among others; as well as reflect on its theoretical components and assess its impact on the economic-social development of our countries based on the experiences achieved.

- Role of the University in science, technology and innovation systems.
- Studies on science, technology and society interaction: environmental impacts, gender and science, public participation, perception of science and scientific culture.
- Renewal of the theoretical methodological frameworks of STS studies linked to ICT.
- Relationship University - Company - Society. Its impact on economic-social development.
- Innovation management for local development.
- R+D+I programs and projects as a way to strengthen the University-Business relationship.
- Role and experiences of the new dynamic forms of science, technology and innovation: Scientific and Technological Parks; Science and Technology Interface Societies and non-profit Foundations, in the promotion of University-Business relations.
- Business experiences in the management of science, technology and innovation.
- Information and communication technologies in government management based on science and innovation.
- Experiences of scientific advice to governments, organizations, companies or institutions.
- Regional strategies and international cooperation alliances to strengthen the University-Business relationship and the management of science, technology and innovation.
- The management of university extension as a dynamic and transformative process of the bidirectional university-society relationship and its integration with substantive university processes.
A Special Session on “Estructuras de interfaz y gestión de proyectos I+D+i” will be held within the framework of the Workshop.
