First Workshop University of Informatics Sciences–University of Leipzig on Biomechanics and Sport

Aim of the Workshop

The workshop will focus on the impact of biomechanics on sport. Professionals engaged in biomechanics, sport sciences and computational sciences will be invited. In addition, it will be a good opportunity to promote the preliminary results of the project and the cooperation between Cuban and German institutions on the main theme of the event.


Topics

• Computational Biomechanics applied to Sport.

• Description of biological structures (tissues, joints, muscles) using numerical methods.

• Training and coaching: assessment of team formation efficacy, tactical planning, player injury modelling.

• Artificial intelligence techniques and decision making for Sport Sciences.

• Community Detection, Network Analysis and Scientometrics applied to Sports Sciences.
